These cartridges are only NIOSH approved for respiratory protection against certain airborne contaminants when used with the 3M 6000, 7000, and FF-400 Series Facepieces.

Used for respiratory protection from certain organic vapors, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, and sulfur dioxide or chlorine dioxide or hydrogen sulfide, ammonia/methylamine, formaldehyde or hydrogen fluoride according to NIOSH approvals, OSHA/governmental limitations or other applicable regulations and 3M instructions.

Do not use for concentrations of contaminants that are immediately dangerous to life and health, are unknown, or when the concentration exceeds 10 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) with half facepiece respirators and full facepiece respirators when quantitatively fit tested, or 50 times the PEL with full facepiece respirators when quantitatively fit tested or according to specific OSHA standards or applicable government regulations, whichever is lower.
