Technical Details

  • Quick-connect solution for joining 1″ PVC pipes without solvent cement
  • Compression nuts and EPDM rubber gaskets create a watertight seal when hand-tightened
  • Allows for easy disassembly and reassembly for maintenance or temporary installations
  • Pressure rating decreases by approximately 0.5% for each 1°F increase above 73°F
  • Compatible with standard 1″ Schedule 40 PVC pipe (1.315 inches outside diameter)
  • Provides excellent vibration resistance and accommodates slight pipe misalignment
  • Not recommended for buried applications without proper access points

Applications

  • Irrigation systems
  • Water distribution
  • Pool and spa plumbing
  • Residential water systems
  • Agricultural water management
  • Light industrial fluid handling
  • Temporary piping installations
  • Locations requiring future disassembly

Installation Notes

  1. Cut pipe squarely and deburr/clean all connecting ends
  2. Loosen compression nuts and insert pipe ends fully into coupling
  3. Hand-tighten compression nuts only – do not use wrenches or overtighten
  4. For optimal performance, support piping adequately to prevent stress on coupling
  5. Perform pressure testing before burial or enclosed installation
