This 1-1/4″ Schedule 40 PVC Male Adapter transitions from threaded fittings to socket weld systems with precision-molded NPT threads and a socket end designed for solvent welding. The pressure rating decreases as temperature increases:

Installation Guidelines

• Use PTFE tape or appropriate thread sealant on male threads
• For socket connections, use appropriate PVC primer and cement
• Hand-tighten when connecting to female fittings, then use strap wrench for additional 1-2 turns maximum
• Allow 24 hours curing time before pressure testing
• Do not overtighten as this may crack the fitting
