Application Instructions

1. Identify the worn brake pads on the bicycle — inspect pad thickness and surface condition
2. Loosen the hex nut on the existing brake pad bolt using the appropriate spanner
3. Slide the worn brake pad out of the calliper arm slot and discard
4. Clean the rim sidewall contact surface with isopropyl alcohol before fitting new pads — remove any glazing, oil, or debris
5. Insert the new brake pad bolt into the calliper arm slot and hand-thread the hex nut
6. Align the pad so the full face of the rubber block sits flush against the rim sidewall — the pad must not contact the tyre
7. Angle the leading edge of the pad very slightly forward (toe-in) to reduce brake squeal
8. Hold the pad in the correct position and tighten the hex nut firmly
9. Squeeze the brake lever and check the pad contacts the rim evenly — readjust if needed
10. Repeat for the opposite pad, then check overall brake performance before riding
