Application Instructions

1. Remove the tyre, tube, and rim tape from the wheel to access the spoke nipples
2. Identify the broken spoke — note whether it is on the drive or non-drive side and which flange pattern it follows
3. Remove the broken spoke from the hub flange and rim
4. Thread the new spoke through the hub flange hole in the same orientation as adjacent spokes
5. Weave the spoke through the existing spokes following the original lacing pattern
6. Insert the nipple through the rim hole from the outside and thread it onto the spoke tip by hand
7. Tighten the nipple with a spoke key until the spoke tension matches the surrounding spokes
8. Check wheel true — use a truing stand or the brake pads as a reference
9. Adjust spoke tension gradually until the wheel runs true laterally and radially
10. Replace rim tape, tube, and tyre before returning the wheel to service
