Application Instructions

1. Locate the puncture — inflate the tube and submerge in water to identify the air leak by observing bubbles
2. Deflate the tube completely before proceeding
3. Using the metal rasp or sandpaper, buff and clean the area around the puncture to a size slightly larger than the patch — the surface must be rough and free of debris
4. Apply a thin, even coat of rubber solution to the buffed area — the coated area should be larger than the patch
5. Allow the rubber solution to dry fully — do not rush this step; the solution must be touch-dry before patch application
6. Peel the foil backing from the patch and center it over the puncture site
7. Press the patch down firmly and stitch down thoroughly from the center outward to remove air bubbles
8. Allow to cure for several minutes before re-inflating the tube
